What is Old is New Again
So I was just reading a little bit of my old blog, LisaLand.
Isn't it funny when you go back and read your thoughts from time past.
Things that were so pressing and depressing and life consuming, now are just a passing thought.
Yeah I am still afraid of my mothers cancer, but she has had all her treatments, and
everything looks good. Now I am more afraid of her drowning in the lake she swims and kayaks around almost every day. See she is out there all by herself, and I know she is pushing herself real hard to get back in shape and get her strength back. I just hope it is not to hard.
As for the war, yep still nervous, but I am no longer trying to figure out how to build a bomb shelter in the parking lot of my apartment building. I have also stopped hoarding canned goods and water.
Like I wrote when I first started this blog, so much has changed since I stopped that blog.
- I am no longer addicted to neopets (but I think I might have to start that again too)
- I went from a job in a hospital 40min away to one 5min away. How sweet is that.
- Moms doing great!!!! (see above)
- Paul was laid-off for 6 months, was employed for 6 months, laid-off for 3 months, and is now happily employed again.
- I have added to my tattoo collection 4 times. Gothic Tattoo, simply the best!! They even have a pic of one of my Tattoos. That one is on my left calf.
- Our pet collection consists of 2 cats, well one cat and one little witch from hell. The standard guinea pig, a ferret, and a fish.
- My hubby has had 2 hickeys on his forehead, which he received at sex toy parties. But that is the subject of another post.
Well I guess that is it for now,
Robert Frost really did sum up life the best....
In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life. It goes on.
